<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt, forming a treated tooth cloth in light color while holding required strength and temperature dependency, securing adhesion property of each layer, and achieving longer life of a toothed belt, better travel stability, reduced scatter of abrasion powder, determinability of an abrasion state, and better water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The treated tooth cloth 6 for this toothed belt 1 is composed of a first layer 9 comprising rubber impregnated in canvas, a second rubber layer 10 formed on the surface side of the first layer, and a third rubber layer 11 formed on the back side of the first layer, and adhered to a belt main body rubber layer 3. The rubber for the first layer comprises hydrogen-added nitrile rubber and polymer alloy comprising zinc methacrylate finely dispersed in hydrogen-added nitrile rubber blended in a range of 95:5-60:40 by weight parts to form a mix, that is further blended with polytetrafluoroethylene, phenolic resin, titanium oxide, potassium titanate fibers, and solely, zinc methacrylate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
