<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure the image quality of misalignment in the recorded image of an image-forming device using a plurality of recording devices, to exchange a consumable item, or the like at appropriate time, to collect a toxic substance smoothly, and to prevent a wrong use. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing unit forms an image by image formation auxiliary information for assuring image formation quality, analyzes whether an auxiliary information request from a host device is valid, and outputs false image formation auxiliary information when the result of the analysis shows that the auxiliary information request is invalid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
