<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the amount of data stored at a storage, on the premise of performing data compression and encryption. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus according to the present invention comprises a data amount comparing device 105.
