<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation film for liquid crystal display element which has excellent heat resistance and is capable of improving a viewing angle of a liquid crystal display element. <P>SOLUTION: The optical compensation film for liquid crystal display element is made by laminating an optically anisotropic uniaxial oriented film exhibiting positive birefringence, especially the optically anisotropic uniaxial oriented film exhibiting positive birefringence consisting of polycarbonate resin and transparent cyclic polyolefin resin and/or olefin-maleimide copolymer, and an optically anisotropic biaxial oriented film exhibiting negative birefringence, especially the optically anisotropic biaxial oriented film exhibiting negative birefringence consisting of N-substituted maleimide-olefin copolymer and acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
