PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct required offset elimination in order to obtain proper images. SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging apparatus which forms a photoelectric conversion element for converting an optical signal from a photographic subject into an electrical signal and a reading means of reading the electrical signal converted at the photoelectric conversion element in an image forming region 11 is formed with an optical black region 13 to form the reading means without forming the photoelectric conversion element, and has an output means to output the signal read by the image forming region 11 and the signal read by the optical black region 13. The image forming region 11 is divided into a plurality of regions and has a plurality of output means at each region. Each output means has a differencing means of taking the difference between the signal read by the image forming region 11 and the signal read by the optical black region 13.
