PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing adhesion of marine organisms, which is simply and inexpensively installed on the inner wall surface of an inlet channel, has a uniform potential distribution and efficiently generates oxygen, a method for installing the apparatus and a composite plate for preventing adhesion of marine organisms to be used in the installation method. SOLUTION: The apparatus for preventing adhesion of marine organisms has constitution that the plate 2 for preventing adhesion of marine organisms in which a titanium sheet 4 is mounted on the surface of an insulating material 3 and a plurality of stainless steel belt-like bodies 5 extended in the flow direction of the inlet channel are mounted on the back side of the insulating material 3 is arranged on the inner wall surface 1 of the inlet channel and the titanium sheet 4 and the stainless steel belt-like bodies 5 are electrically connected to an external direct current power source.
