PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a hooking metal fixture which is made of a metal, provided at the tip of a lead, weighing to some extent and rapidly moved together with the lead to the side of a case to dangerously touch a hand, a face, and the like, of an operator because the winding reel rapidly rotates by urging force of a spring to wind the lead when the tip of the lead in a long state is removed from a collar of a dog and an operating means is operated to a rotatable state of the winding reel in a stretchable type lead apparatus. SOLUTION: This stretchable type lead apparatus for the pet is proposed as follows. The stretchable type lead apparatus for the pet is equipped with the winding reel 2 urging a long stringy material 6 with the spring 8 in the winding direction in the case 1 and further the operating means 11 making the winding reel unrotatable. The stretchable type lead apparatus for the pet is further provided with a hermetically closed vessel 12 filled with a liquid and installed adjacently to the winding reel and an impeller 13 rotatably provided in the hermetically closed vessel.
