PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion assisting instrument for preventing the movements of a guide tube. SOLUTION: This endoscope insertion assisting instrument is equipped with the guiding flexible tube 21 which is formed into a tubular shape with a passage where an insertion portion of an endoscope is inserted and has a transparent tube 23 made of a transparent material in a prescribed region of the above tubular part and a balloon 25 which is provided at a part of the transparent tube 23 and is connected to a fluid supply means.
