<p>The abutment is the central element of the tooth implant provided with an appropriately shaped upper segment (6) for joining the dental crown. The new design of an abutment has a lateral extension (5) with a slightly inclined threaded bore (1) suitable for the insertion of an additional securing element (3). The element (3) can be a small screw, a press-in device, or a sleeve with a spring element. All surfaces of the unit are of a conical shape for an easy joining of the other components.</p> |
