<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a gas bubble contained in a potting material in a short time in an electronic control device which fills up with the potting material the inside of a case in which a substrate is accommodated. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device and motor-driven pump is provided with a case 12, a substrate 24 accommodated in the case 12, and an electronic part group mounted to the substrate 24. While an opening 13 is formed in the surface in the opposition of one side of the substrate 24, the case 12 is filled up with a potting material 41, and the substrate 24 and the electronic part group are embedded in the potting material 41. Furthermore, the distance between electrodes of the electronic parts mounted on the surface at the opposite side of the opening of the substrate 24 is larger than the distance between electrodes of any electronic parts mounted on the surface at the side of the opening of the substrate 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
