<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element for improving aperture ratio and resolution, and the method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: For this reason, the object of the invention is to arrange an array element and an organic electroluminescence diode on different substrates. The organic electroluminescence diode containing an organic electroluminescence layer is formed on a second substrate. The array element containing a thin film transistor for driving the organic electroluminescence diode is formed on a first substrate.
