<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery suitable for high-efficiency charge and discharge and excellent in charge-discharge cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery excellent in battery properties such as charge-discharge cycle characteristics and peeling strength can be made by using an anode prepared by forming on a metal electrode foil an anode active material layer prepared by moderately spheroidizing high-capacity natural graphite by impact and/or grinding, using the sphered graphite as an anode active material, applying a magnetic field to the metal electrode foil to orientate the spheroidized natural graphite, and drying and compression-molding the resulting graphite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
