<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging device, an image processor and a program stably and highly precisely measuring the shape of the blood vessel. <P>SOLUTION: This ultrasonic imaging device is so formed that a cursor setting means 202 determines a lumen part of the blood vessel included in tomographic image information of an imaging section using three-dimensional tomographic image information, a calculation means 203 finds a blood vessel short axis cross-section in a specified position, a measuring means 204 calculates the blood vessel long axis cross-section, where the cross-section of the blood vessel has the maximum size, from the blood vessel short axis cross-section, and then the blood vessel measurement is performed using the tomographic image information of the blood vessel long axis cross-section. This device can thus measure the blood vessel, such as the membrane thickness or hardness of the blood vessel wall using the blood vessel long axis cross-section precisely coincident with the running direction of the blood, at a stable precision with the reduced setting error of the cross-section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
