PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing support system suitable for realizing color gamuts required for printing, without causing complication of the structure of a printing apparatus. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 100 calculates the color gamuts required for printing based on a printing data and presents an ink cartridge having ink capable of expressing the color gamuts having the largest degree covering the color gamuts calculated on the basis of ink color gamut information which shows the color gamuts capable of being expressed by ink.
