PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure measuring glow plug for diesel engine comprising plug bodies 3 and 4 to be inserted into a cylinder of a diesel engine; a heating rod 1 disposed within the plug bodies 3, 4; and a pressure sensor 7 arranged under an initial tension between the heating rod 1 and the plug bodies 3, 4 so as to receive an action by the pressure within a combustion chamber of the cylinder. SOLUTION: The heating rod 1 transmits the pressure within the combustion chamber of the cylinder to the pressure sensor 7, and is disposed to be displaceable in a sliding manner in the axial direction relative to the plug bodies 3 and 4. A seal of the form of a bellows-like part 2 is provided between the heating rod 1 and the plug bodies 3 and 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
