PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor with which a processing speed is dramatically enhanced compared with conventional image processors in a scanner operation mode. SOLUTION: The image processor comprises: a binary processing means 301 converting digital-converted multivalued image data into binary image data; a multivalued processing means 302 applying prescribed processing to the digital-converted multivalued image data; and a transmission means 303 storing the binary picture data converted by the binary processing means 301 and the multivalued image data applied the prescribed processing by the multivalued processing means 302 on a prescribed storage means for transmission.
