PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device and a paper feed tray capable of realizing thin thickness of the whole device while simplifying a structure of a paper feed tray and a paper delivery tray and further improving conveying failure or the like of a medium to be recorded. SOLUTION: A paper delivery auxiliary tray 33 is movably provided near an end in an upstream side in a paper feeding direction (direction of arrow A) in the paper feed tray 3 between a storage position where it is stored in a first storage part 34 recessedly provided so as to have an opening on an upper surface on the paper feed tray 3 and an enlargement position where an end in a downstream side in a paper delivery direction in the medium P to be recorded outwardly projected from the paper delivery tray 10b can be supported by stretching it to the paper delivery direction (direction of arrow B) side than an end in the upstream side in the paper feeding direction in the paper feed tray 3. When the paper delivery auxiliary tray 35 is positioned at the enlargement position, a restriction part 36 for restricting downward deflection at the first storage part 34 of the medium P to be recorded stored in the paper feed tray 3 is provided.
