PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slit device capable of increasing the critical rotary speed of a driving shaft in a winding device and outstandingly enhancing productivity by making a winding speed of cut tape to a high speed by that degree. SOLUTION: A group of narrow width webs T cut by a cutting blade part 11 are divided to a plurality of narrow width web groups G1, G2 in a web width direction and a branched conveying passages R1, R2 and winding devices 4A, 4B are provided in ever narrow width web groups G1, G2. A plurality of pairs of winding devices 4A, 4B are dispersed/arranged at front and rear sides in the narrow width web conveying direction and shaft length L of the driving shaft 26 provided on the respective winding devices 4A, 4B is shortened to length corresponding to the whole width dimension b of the respective narrow width web groups G1, G2. Since the critical rotary speed of the driving shaft 26 can be outstandingly increased when the shaft length L of the driving shaft 26 is shortened, the winding speed of the narrow width web T can be made to high speed by that degree.
