PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin container which has the function of cutting off a beam of light having a specific wavelength, and can contribute to recycling of containers. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin container comprises a synthetic resin container body 10 having a mouth 2, a support ring 5 formed on the lower end of the mouth 2, and a shoulder, a trunk, and a bottom which extend consecutively from the support ring 5, a shading tabular covering member 30 which covers the bottom wall surface of the container body 10 from outside, and a shading cylindrical shrink label 40 which covers the container body surface consecutively from the lower end of the mouth 2 to the point where the label 40 overlaps a part of the covering member 30. A shading cap 20 is fitted on the mouth 2 of the container body 10.
