PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixing agent for a hydraulic composition, the admixing agent which is excellent in effect of improving blackening and with which a one-component formulation can be prepared without causing phase separation even when a polycarboxylic acid-based dispersing agent is incorporated. SOLUTION: The admixing agent for the hydraulic composition contains a specific olefin-maleic acid copolymer (I) and one or more kinds of copolymers (II) selected from a group consisting of a specific copolymer (A), a specific copolymer (B) and a specific copolymer (C). The admixing agent satisfies a particular condition that the weight ratio of (A)/(B)/(C) exists in the outside of a range surrounded by points of a1, b1, c1, and d1 in a ternary diagram in Figure.
