The invention relates to aviation engineering, shipbuilding and wind-power engineering and can be used for air and water propellers, water-pump impellers and windwheels. The screw comprises aerodynamic blades whose end areas are provided with diffusers. The diffuser axes have a positive angle of attack. Said diffusers can be embodied in the screw body in the form of diffuser channels. The convergent inputs of the channels are embodied on the front edge of the blades and the divergent outputs thereof on the rear edge of the blades. The channels can have a tear-drop-shaped cross section and oriented towards the center of the screw by the smaller section thereof. During the propeller rotation, the blades catch medium by the aerodynamic shape thereof and push it back, thereby producing a propelling force. The channel-shaped diffusers produce additional streams by means of the positive angle of attack pushing the medium back along the screw axis from the front to the rear thereof and along a spiral to the center of the screw into an airscrew wash behind the propeller. In addition, vanes arranged on the propeller blades prevent the blade end slap phenomenon and channel the medium streams to the airscrew wash. Said invention makes it possible to increase the pressure behind the screw and the pushed back medium mass, thereby increasing the screw propelling forces. |
