<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting the position of a line head with reference to a lens array, and to provide a position adjuster. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber (rod lens) 68 of a rod lens array 65 is illuminated by the light emitting section 63 of a glass substrate 62 or an external light source, and the rod lens array 65 and its image are photographed from the imaging surface 91a side by means of a CCD camera 90. Photographed images are displayed on a display, and the position of an alignment member formed on the glass substrate is adjusted to the reference position of the rod lens array by second position adjusting means, i.e. adjusting pins 81 and 82. Since the position of the glass substrate 62 is adjusted previously by a first position adjusting means (X, Y drive handler 96 on Fig. 4), accuracy of positional adjustment is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
