PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp with base in which the power supply member of the base is prevented from oxidation due to overheat and which has no early failure of lighting, and has a long service life. SOLUTION: In the lamp with base, the base 20 has a lamp support part 21 of a hollow cylindrical shape for containing and supporting a sealing part 12 of the lamp, a bottom part 23 provided at the rear end part of the lamp support part 21, and power supply parts 25a, 25b projecting from the rear end face of the bottom part 23. A heat transfer barrier part 24 in which the quantity of heat transmitted in the axial direction of the base is smaller than that of the other portions is formed between the lamp support part 21 and the bottom part 23 of the base.
