PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee that returned image information has equal size of an image or image quality or the like as compared to original image information when returning the image information to an original device even if the moved image information has a deteriorated size of the image or image quality or the like as compared to the original image information when moving various kinds of information such as the image information to another device or the like from a request of copyright protection. SOLUTION: This image movement method has steps of: converting data stored in a first data storage means in a first format into a second format; producing data for returning the data converted into the second format to the first format; storing the data converted into the second format in a second data storage means; deleting the data stored in the first data storage means in the first format; and storing the data for performing the return to the first format in the first storage means.
