PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for an electrophotographic photoreceptor for improving electrical properties of the electrophotographic photoreceptor and an electrophotographic photoreceptor using the additive, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge using the electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The additive for an electrophotographic photoreceptor has structure represented by formula (I) wherein F denotes an n-valent organic group having hole transport property; T denotes a divalent group; Y denotes O or S; R1-R3each independently denote H or a monovalent organic group; R4denotes a monovalent organic group; m denotes 0 or 1; and n denotes an integer of 1-4, provided that R3and R4may bond to each other to form a heterocycle having Y as a hetero atom.
