METHOD FOR PRODUCING AROMATIC POLYAMINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a method using a zeolite catalyst efficiently produces an aromatic amine in a high yield but repeated reuse of a zeolite catalyst reduces activity. SOLUTION: The method for producing a polyamine with which reductions in activity and in selectivity are hardly found even by repeated reuse of a solid acid catalyst is consummated. The method for producing a polyamine comprises using a polysiloxane containing an organic sulfonic acid group as a solid acid catalyst in a method for producing an aromatic polyamine by reacting a condensate (N,N-diphenylmethylenediamine) of aniline with formaldehyde of 2:1 in the presence of a solid acid catalyst.
