PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upside-down can conveyance stop device capable of preventing an upside-down can from being carried to a next step by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This upside-down can conveyance stop device 1 comprises a carrying conveyor 5 carrying a can 3 with its opening 23 facing upward to the next step, a pair of carrying guides 7 guiding the can 3 by coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of a can body part 25, and an upside-down can stopper 9 installed on the lower side of the carrying guides 7. A seamer flange 27 having a diameter larger than that of the can body part 25 is formed at the opening part 23 of the can 3, and the upside-down can stopper 9 is positioned on the outside of the outer peripheral surface of the can body part 25 and on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 27a of the flange 27.
