PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus with high quality, which executes a transition to a different drive voltage at a suppressed charging current and receiving a low-noise ultrasonic reflection signal. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus actuates a vibrator 19 by different drive voltages for every divided period, is provided with first capacitors 152, 153, 18 and 122 connected to a filter 15 or an output of a power supply outputting a first drive voltage in a first period in which the vibrator is driven at the first drive voltage, and second capacitors 156, 157, 182 and 124 having a capacitance value larger than that of the first capacitors and connected to the first capacitors in parallel via switch means 154, 255, 181 and 123 turned on in a second period in which the vibrator is driven by a second drive voltage lower than the first drive voltage in a relatively long time following the first period, the first period and the second period are alternately repeated, and an ultrasonic diagnostic image is drawn using the ultrasonic signal received by the vibrator in the second period.
