PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilizing an enzyme, by which the irradiation of light can be controlled to prevent the deactivation of the enzyme, hold the performances of the enzyme and/or a composition containing the enzyme as a constituent, and stably preserve the enzyme for a long period, against a trouble that the enzyme is deactivated by the irradiation of light to thereby deteriorate the performances of the composition. SOLUTION: This method for stabilizing the enzyme and/or the composition containing the enzyme as a constituent is characterized by reducing the irradiation of light on the enzyme and/or the composition containing the enzyme as a constituent.
