Use of solid pigment preparation (I) comprising at least a pigment (30-90 wt.%) (A) and at least a water-soluble surface-active additive (10-70 wt.%) (B), for coloring cellulose/polymer composite materials. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a preparation of colored cellulose/polymer composite materials comprising coloring cellulose particles with (I); and (2) a cellulose/polymer composite materials, which are colored with (I).
