The device is for the fastening of ridge tiles by means of a metal strip, with one end section of which has a U-shaped holder for an end face edge section of a ridge tile (51,54). An extension strip extends from the end section opposite the U-shaped holder. The extension strip is bent in the manner of a side rabbet clamp or storm clamp with the hook end suspended in a hole in the end section. The metal strip is in the form of a ridge clamp (57).
