The functional element (1) for the detachable fastening and/or for the storing of objects such as cups, mobile phones, cards, or other small articles on components (3) in the interior of a vehicle. The functional element is detachably fixed and supported on components in the vehicle by means of magnetic force. The components and the functional element have relatively corresponding magnetic elements. One magnetic element may be fixed on the underside of the functional element, and the magnetic elements for the components may be installed either indirectly or directly on a surface of the components.
