PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing original plate capable of reconciling excellent antistaining properties and high printing durability, and a support for a planographic printing plate used therein. SOLUTION: The support for the planographic printing plate is obtained by applying surface roughening treatment, alkali etching treatment and anodic oxidation treatment to an aluminum plate and has a large wave structure having a wavelength of 2-10 μm, a medium wave structure comprising pits with a mean diameter of 0.1-1.5 μm and a small wave structure comprising fine unevenness in pits on its surface and an anodically oxidized film formed by anodic oxidation treatment has micropores with a mean pore size of 0-15 nm and a mean pore density of 0-400/μm<2> . The planographic printing plate is constituted by providing an image recording layer on the support for the planographic printing plate. |
