PURPOSE: To provide a compact and flexible superconducting magnet having a small contact heat resistance as the conductor used for connecting a refrigerator to a radiation shield. CONSTITUTION: In a superconducting magnet provided with a refrigerator 1 which cools a magnetic shield 7 and radiation shield 4 coaxially arranged against a cryostat 3 surrounding a main coil 2, conductors 9 are constituted of a plurality of sheets of copper foil and the end sections of the conductors 9 are fixed to terminal blocks with diffused junctions. |
