There is provided a core 2 of a ferromagnetic body through which an power line 1 passes. A second winding 3 is wound on the core 2. An amplifier 4 and an LPF 5 that are examples of electrical circuit units continue to the winding. An electrical current induced by magnetic flux Æ1 produced in the core 2 by the current flowing through the power line 1 is amplified, and high frequencies are removed. The obtained current flows through a third winding 6 wound on the core 2, producing 180° out-of-phase magnetic flux Æ 2 that cancels the portion of the magnetic flux Æ 1 in the core which corresponds to low-frequency currents. The magnetic field produced by the remaining RF portion can be extracted as an RF signal by a first winding 7. Conversely, if a current for signal is applied to the first winding 7, the current can be injected into the commercial current in the power line 1.
