PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card issuing device which enables a clerk in charge using a card issuing machine to automatically obtain a desired number of desired cards without putting cards face up to pile them in a stocker by only throwing the cards into the card issuing machine. SOLUTION: When IC cards 23 are thrown into a hopper 24, the hopper 24 drops them one by one till the stop indication. Cards are carried to a front face arrangement part 40 in the erect state by a card vertical carrying system 30 and are horizontally piled face up by the front face arrangement part 40, and then, they are carried one by one by a heater carrying system 50 and have characters on front faces erased and are transferred to a read/write carrying system 70. The read/write carrying system 70 carried IC cards 29 one by one while piling up them until the number of cards reaches a desired value, and on the way of this carrying, information corresponding to ticket issuing information is stored after erasing of internal information, and characters based on ticket issuing information are printed on front faces of IC cards 34 to issue the tickets. |
