PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve traveling properties and dye storage stability by using a glycerin fatty acid ester together with a phosphate as a kind of lubricating oil in a heat-wetting resistant layer. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer dye layer 2 is formed on one surface of a backing sheet 1 facing photographic printing paper, and a heat-wetting resistant layer 3 is formed on the other surface. The layer 3 contains a glycerin fatty acid ester and a phosphate. The glycerin fatty acid ester is a compound given by the formula (R<1> , R<2> , and R<3> represent each independently a hydrogen atom or 12-18C linear acyl group, but they are not simultaneously a hydrogen atom). By using the glycerin fatty acid ester together, the deterioration of the dye and others can be controlled to improve storage stability. Since the ester also functions as a kind of lubricant, a friction coefficient can also be reduced. |
