Building plaster and corresponding methods and uses. The invention relates to a building plaster with a delayed setting time, which comprises at least 50% in weight of CaSO 4 , and which in addition comprises more than 0.0025% in weight, relative to the CaSO 4 , of hydrolysed erythrocytes. The hydrolysed erythrocytes can be added in the form of partially hydrolysed erythrocytes, in which case their degree of hydrolysis must be taken into account. The manufacturing method for the building plaster includes a stage of enzymatic or chemical hydrolysis of said erythrocytes. The invention also relates to the use of hydrolysed erythrocytes as an additive for building plaster, preferably for delaying the setting time of the building plaster.
