The disclosed herein terminal accessory 2 is designed to support tables or other planar surfaces 8 on bases of hollow beams 7 of circular or parallelogram cross section with no drillings or pretreatment of the beam end 7 and with no use of separate plug for covering the edge of this last. The upper side of said accessory is planar and absolutely adjacent to surface to be supported. At the accessory's centre, there is configurated a hole 5 traversed by a screw connecting the supporting end to the surface. The rear side of same accessory bears a member 1 of circular or rectangular cross section analogous to the cross section of the beam 7 in use and which member is entering the interior of the beam 7 for providing sufficient support. After the assembly is accomplished, the edge of the beam 7 adjoins completely the rear side of the supporting accessory 2 and conceals thus the interior of the beam 7 and the sharp edges thereof. The lower and lateral sides of the supporting accessory 2 bear a curved configuration aiming at improving the aesthetical appearance of the construction. Finally, a special recess formed around the hole 5 of the lower side conceals, after mounting, the head of the screw traversing said hole. |
