Brazing strength of a T-type branching joint (1) of a type produced by press forming is increased. In addition, each pipe (P) can be separately brazed to a main tube section (11) and a branch tube section (12) to enhance workability of brazing. To achieve the above, the joint has an engagement claw (14). The engagement claw (14) engages flat plate sections (13) to each other, the flat plate sections (13) being superposed on each other at a corner between the main tube section (11) and the branch tube section (12).
