The cable fixing point (12,13) for the fastening of at least one elevator cable (7) has a rotational bearing (40) for the fastening of a cable end (7',7"), whereby each rotational bearing enables a rotation of the cable end fastening around a prescribed axis (L) which is orientated by a traction force (F) acting on the cable and/or in the longitudinal direction of a cable section (7.1,7.5) adjacent to the cable fixing point. The rotational bearing includes an axial bearing (41,43,44) with a rotatable section (43) to which is connected the cable end fastening. An independent claim is included for an elevator equipped with the aforesaid cable fixing point. |
