FIELD: mechanical engineering; hoisting and transporting facilities. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in load-lifting and handling machines, mainly, tower cranes with provision of increased visibility. Proposed cabin 1 of tower crane has two parts 7 and 12, part 7 being rigidly secured on base 2, and movable part 12, made transparent, being hinge-coupled with part 7. End face wall 8 of fixed non-transparent part 7 of cabin 1 is made semicylindrical, and its side walls 9 are in form of semicircle on which front transparent part 12 of cabin 1 with U-shaped wiper 14 and protective hood 13 are installed for turning relative to central horizontal axis of cabin 1. End face and side walls are made similar to rear nontransparent part 7 of cabin 1, and protective guard 15 is installed. Hinge units 10 are installed symmetrically relative to vertical axis 6 of cabin being made in form of alternatively fitted-in parts with clearance and possibility of turning of cylindrical shafts relative to horizontal axis of cabin. ^ EFFECT: reduced labor input in manufacture of cabin, provision of comfort and safety of operator in service. ^ 3 dwg |
