FIELD: foundry. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes sleeve with sample of molding sand, two pressure sources connected in parallel through connection lines with mixer, adjustable valves and gas flow rate pickups arranged in said connection lines. Gas mixture simulating composition of gas separated from molding sand is fed to sleeve through gas flow rate pickup. Gas mixture is filtered to atmosphere through sample. Readings of pressure pickup connected with inlet cavity of sleeve are used for calculating factor of gas permeability of molding sand. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of evaluating gas permeability factor of different tested molding and core sands. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
