FIELD: shipbuilding; building of fire-fighting vessels. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed fire-fighting boat has hull, island-type deck superstructure with wheel house and mast-tube passed through it and main power plant. At least one swivel mount with two fire-fighting monitors is installed on transformable upright, telescopic upright for example which is connected in its lower part with mast-tube. Distance between axis of turn of mount in vertical plane in extreme upward extended position and top of mast-tube exceeds height of section of mast-tube from its top to upper cover of wheel house. Distance between said axis of turn of mount in extended upward position and DWL at minimum loading of boat exceeds minimum draft of boat by at least 7 times. Provision is made for withstanding considerable list during operation of all fire-fighting monitors in transverse direction. ^ EFFECT: enhanced seaworthiness and stability; increased cruising range. ^ 17 cl, 3 dwg
