The accessory has two molded parts (34) provided at respective ends of a windshield wiper blade (12) and connected by auxiliary rails whose height increases from ends towards center. A central zone of the windshield wiper blade is provided with another molded part (36) against which a coupling unit and the auxiliary rails are supported. The molded parts (34, 36) are relatively shorter than length of the windshield wiper blade.
