The device has two impermeable pockets (2) integrated outside/inside a dress (1). Each pocket contains an impermeable leg warmer (6) held along each leg to cover the top of the legs, where each warmer is fastened by fasteners (5, 8). Gussets (4) are provided at the top of thighs and at the level of knees to obstruct wind and to engage leg folding. An end of the warmer has an impermeable fabric extension (7) to protect shoes and ankles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a dress for protecting legs against rain comprising a device for protecting front part of legs of a user against rain (B) a belt or accessory for legs protecting dress comprising a device for protecting front part of legs of a user against rain.
