<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor capable of preventing to the utmost a relative position deviation with a magnetoelectric device following a position deviation of a core, and reducing dispersion of the characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: In this current sensor 1A, the core 10 having a gap 10a and a Hall element 15 arranged in the gap 10a of the core 10 are stored in a component storage chamber 3 in a case body 4, and the component storage chamber 3 is filled with a molding agent.
