<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm device that can be easily installed in a place requiring security and can surely detect intrusion. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm device has inside an alarm device body 100 a reel 121 having a sensing cable 211 provided at an end with a connector 220 that is cut away depending on an external force, the sensing cable 211 having at least two wires and extensibly wound on the reel 211; a connection detection circuit 110 that outputs a fault signal upon detecting that an electrical connection between the two wires of the sensing cable has been broken as the result of separation of the connector; a vibration sensor 123 that outputs a fault signal when exerted with either the rotation of the reel due to the movement of the sensing cable or other kinetic force; a battery box circuit 140 that outputs a fault signal when a box provided in a casing to hold batteries is opened; and an alarm means for sounding an alarm when a fault signal is provided from either the connection detection circuit, the vibration sensor, the battery box circuit or a card detection circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
