<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a hopping speed without reducing the number of tones. <P>SOLUTION: For each of chips forming a communication frame conforming to FH-MMFSK, a transmission unit 10 segments one part of a corresponding chip so that the corresponding chip can be restored from the segmented portion, and replaces the chip using the segmented one part as a segmented chip, thereby generating a reduced frame of the communication frame and transmitting the generated frame. A receiver unit 20 receives the reduced frame, and for each of the segmented chips forming the received reduced frame, the receiver unit 20 restores a corresponding chip from this segmented chip, and replaces the segmented chip by the corresponding chip, thereby restoring the communication frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
