PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device with a photographing function which is appropriate for thinning a case and in which biological original information such as a fingerprint can be easily photographed. SOLUTION: A folder type portable phone comprises first and second cases 1 and 2 connected through a hinge 3 so as to be opened and closed and a camera module 6 built in the first case 1 and in which the camera module 6 can be switched to two photographing modes of an ordinary mode and a close-up mode, wherein a through-hole 2c is formed at the second case 2, a finger 12 for fingerprint photographing is provided near the opening end of the through-hole 2c, and the camera module is automatically switched to the close-up mode if a finger plate 13 that the finger 12 includes is located at a mounting position, or to the ordinary mode if the finger plate 13 is located at a saving position. In a state of folding the first and the second cases 1 and 2, photographing in the ordinary mode or the close-up mode is performed via the through-hole 2c by the camera module 6.
